Your surgeon will provide specific guidelines, but generally:
– Stage 1 (0–2 weeks post-op):
A high-compression faja is worn immediately after surgery to minimise swelling and fluid retention.
– Stage 2 (2–6 weeks post-op):
A more fitted faja with increased compression is worn as swelling subsides and the body continues to heal.
– Stage 3 (6+ weeks post-op):
Some people continue wearing a faja for 3–6 months to enhance results and maintain compression.
